Have you tried this patch?

As it fixes some problems mostly
related to an Ins key, I wonder if
maybe that can help you.

very strange. still not able to make bug on DOSEMU?
hold many buttons like alt ins and move keys at same
time to do.

what fix did 1.143? run the same, same freeze and all

problem was with 1.021 and 1.13 too. still freeze
dosemu.

try this maybe
press ctrl many times (to shoot) when move, at same
time press alt many times also to use shield
should work 
what level you get up to? :-)

yes tried patch. does not help at all, like wifes
brother. should I say that in galacta, if more than
one special (ins ctrl alt) key is pressed it will
dosemu freeze, rather than just with ctrl+ins, so to
say i can press ctrl with alt (to do shield and fire
at same time, very useful) and same thing will work.
(so problem not just with ins)

have you tried galacta? i think my computer 486SX/40
is too slow for dosemu, maybe. run as root does the
same, no different.

Ctrl+Ins freeze dosemu

Hi.
I have using dosemu 1.137 to playing good game (very
good) called "galacta" (i think), made by albinofrog?
software. apparently when i playing game, all work
well but when ctrl+ins press together, the screen
stays same and game keeps on going (i can hear sound,
can be hit) so to say, dosemu freezes. Does anyone
know how fix this? dosemu and galacta does not work,
like wifes brother. right now, i can only play more if
i press ctrl+ins. this running with konsole pictures,
raw keboard and as root. i cant fix it, no matter will
i apply any patches or not:(

hope i can be helped by someone, because i want to
play game. galacta can be got from

don't need moneys but game is very very big, getting
take 10 minutes.
