... takes a very long time while in dosemu. I've set both ems and xms
size to 8192 in dosemu.conf. Do anyone know how to speed up the macro
execution?

Have you tried changing hogthreshold to 0?

If setting hogthreshold to 0 works, you can try other values greater than 1
that work. Try 2. If that works, then you have the value that robs the
least amount of the CPU for dosemu. If not, try 3. Etc. 0 robs the most.
