Isn't it possible to use it under dosemu? I got this error:
32loader error: make.exe
program requires DPMI uncommitted memory support.
Is it possible to work around this if I want to use Dosemu?

possibly; some googling reveals you might be able to use a program called
'maker.exe' instrad.
