Hi,
My keyboard has a standard US layout. To switch to German I am using 'setkbmap
de', however, I can't find "@", where is "@" (Affenschaukel)?
Thanks

Service Peter!
AltGr-Q. The AltGr key is the one that is just to the right of the space bar.
Grüß,

Thanks!
I had tried all possible combinations with left site Ctrl, Alt, Shift not
realizing that the right Alt/Shift have different functions and I can see now
that there are about 30 odd more characters to get out with those two keys,
not found on US keyboard setting.
What I have not found yet is "|". How do you pipe in German? No that I need
it, just curious.
Regards

The key just to the left of what is the 'Y' on the German keyboard ('Z' on the
US keyboard) is the greater than-less than key. It also has the pipe symbol,
so Alt-Gr-<.
