screen Refresh problem

hi all,
   I recently installed Fedora Core 3 but there is a problem with
screen refreshing.
I mean when I open a window, i can only see the bar at the top and
buttons only when hovering mouse over it.
I have intel i810 chip and Philips 14 inch Monitor(not detected, i
chose as generic 1024x768).

What is the problem?

The problem is the FC3 driver for i810 chip is borked.  Do a quick google
search on Fedora Core 3 and i810.  You should find a new driver that can
be installed that will fix the problem.
