Is LED connected to McBSP lines and you want to operate them (McBSP
lines) in GPIO mode? This is possible by changing the mux settings of
McBSP lines to GPIO mode and use the GPIO APIs to read and write to
them.

Khasim

Hi guys,
Is there anyone who knows about mcbsp? Is it possible
to connect a button or a led to it? If yes, how is it
done? Is it the same as programming the gpio? I hope
there's someone who could help me.
Thanks,
Oj

It is also possible to use some lines of any McBSP port by changing
line states directly writing to McBSP registers.

Can I use omap_cfg_reg to change the mux settings? If
so, I'm confuse if what will I pass to this function.
I looked at the mux.h and I cant find the mcbsp1.***.
I could see mcbsp2 there but not 1. Thank you guys.
Regards,
OJ
