Subject: [PATCH 25/26] dma-buf: Add kunit tests for mapping type
Date: Mon, 26 Oct 2026 16:36:16 +1100	[thread overview]
Message-ID: <20261026053623.202642-26-apopple@nvidia.com> (raw)
In-Reply-To: <20261026053623.202642-1-apopple@nvidia.com>

From: Jason Gunthorpe <jgg@nvidia.com>

Some basic coverage of common flows:
 - Check dma_buf_match_mapping()'s rules. These choices effectively
become driver facing API and it would be a pain to change them later
 - Test the dma_bug_sgt attachment flow to see that the new wrappers work

Signed-off-by: Jason Gunthorpe <jgg@nvidia.com>
[ .move_notify renamed to .invalidate_mappings - apopple ]
[ dma_buf_match_mapping() records every compatible pair into the
attachment instead of stopping at the first, so every test passes an
attachment and the priority tests assert the recorded match set - apopple ]
