Dear sir ;
I have a problem and I wish you could help . I have IBM server " netfinity
5600 " dual processor . it was running redhat 8 and it was work fine . after
I upgraded to redhat 9 the system start to go insane . it hangs without
clear reason . the strange messages that I receive from the system are :
1-WARNING: MP table in the EBDA can be UNSAFE, contact
linux-smp@vger.kernel.org if you experience SMP problems!
some times the server work only with one processor as its front panel
leds indicate.
2- mtrr: Serverworks LE detected. Write-combining disabled.
mtrr: your processor doesn't support write-combining.
3- eth0: Bus master arbitration failure, status ffff .
my running driver is pcnet32.
my current kernel version is 2.4.20-8smp . and this is an production server
please help .
