OpenAL, Hercules Game Theatre XP, Audio Support

Hello all,

I was wondering how many people here have used OpenAL? 
Also, is anyone doing any development on Extending the
device drivers already available for the Hercules Game
Theatre XP?  (This is based on the Crystal SoundFusion
CS4630).  There are "working" drivers just not full
enough for what I would like.

you might want to ask on linux-audio-dev. i recall people were less
than enthused about it, but i have forgotten why.

i think i heard talk about the game theatre card over on alsa-user a
while ago.

this list has been very quiet lately and with the inclusion of ALSA
into the kernel, the alsa lists are pretty much where the action is
nowadays...
