so there isnt really any pcmcia soundcard around driven by linux?
i had a look at hyper.stanford.edu SuPPORTED.CARDS .. but null
 builtin one is total crap ..

btw., apart from that it wont work in duplex, my sound.in seems to be at
Mic.level, which makes it pretty hard to record anything not horribly
distorted. (not that  i dont like horrible distortion, but sometimes i d
rather have hifi qualty).
 any way to re-set this level from software?

how woukd it work to make my modem (pzmcia as well) output sound through
dev/audio?
