It could be OK to just have it on the line-input, but if also the mike-input is of high quality that would be great. Less external devices makes it easier to deal with :-) So, it is high-quality sound for recording my own stuff I am looking for. In the true spirit of Free Software a closed-source, binary-only driver isn't acceptable for me. Thanks for any pointers you can give me. Do you have any suggestion of a card with the specs you suggest?
