Hi,
anyone has succesfully installed a Turtle Beach Pinnacle?
Please tell me what to do with the firmware files (pnddk100.zip),
because I can't compile them, they are for DOS!

Pietro,
I'm using a Fiji (i.e. Pinnacle without the onboard Kurzweil synth) and it works ok (unresolved problems with duplex though).
I think you need the 'conv' program to convert the firmware files; conv comes with the driver package downloaded from Andrew Veliath's website:
http://atv.ne.mediaone.net/linux-multisound/
Once you've unpacked the tar file, read the directions in the file MultiSound. It tells you how to make 'conv' and use it to convert the DOS binaries.
Alternatively I could email you the converted firmware files from my system.
Nick
