Does anyone know where to get a driver (module) for the Montego II sound card?
This is similar to the Quadzilla, but doesn't have support for four speakers.
I am using kernel 2.2.12, but I don't think the sound support in this kernel
will work for the board I have. Technical documentation would also be greatly
appreciated. Thank you. :-)

I believe there should be an OSS sound driver for that card, providing it is a
Vortex 2 card, which I believe it is, coming out soon.
I have a MX300 card sitting in my machine, and I'm waiting on a driver also
;o)
I believe the OSS site is www.opensound.com
Take a look at the supported cards list, under Vortex 2 :o)

Have you tried to contact Turtle Beach directly? I would be surprised if
you did get any useful information (been there done that), but you might
be lucky (times are a changing) and at least they will see some interest
for Linux for their products.
The email I used then, and which I assume still works is:
