i've been reading with interest all the bits that have cropped up on here
about the sblive drivers that are being produced, and was particularly
interested to find out that people have found that signals were getting
distorted unless mixer volume was reduced. this was claimed to be a
problem with the linux drivers, but since then ive been listening closely
to the sblive all the time and noticed exactly the same problem in win95
(allthough there was far less distortion). has anyone got any idea what's
going on?
also has anyone got any idea whether the creative/linux team are planning
to implement /dev/sequencer & /dev/music drivers soon?
