Hi everybody!
Is there VQF soft for Linux?
As far as I know, VQF is a sound compression format similar to MP3. But
it has better quality with smaller bitrates (112kbit VQF is as nice as
192Kbit MP3)
So can somebody throw me an URL or a program itself?

You can use XMMS to play vqf files. Try http://www.xmms.com.
I read the page on this once (a few months ago), and I know you have do do
some tricky stuff with WINE and the windows .dll's to get it working, but
XmmS will definately play them. (I haven't tried yet.)

actully, VQF totally rapes the high frequencies, and hence does not at all
sound as good as mp3.
