that is a little bit contradictory, IMHO.

on the one hand, you are the sole person to have the "complete view" to bugs and patches - all
others have to dig into the mailinglists (and see nothing but mails - especially newbies) - and 
there is much "noise" there :)
on the other hand, you wish, that you were less the boss.
i think it would be a benefit, if there was a way, that your "todo folder" would be more public.

i don`t know, if i`m the right person for such job - but maybe it can be done by 2 or more persons?
