hi !
i made some tests with NX running inside a user-mode-linux machine today.
i used wmaker as window-manager because i don`t have full kde installed
inside my uml. i didn`t do heavy testing, but from my first poing of view:
RUNS GOOD!
:)

i agree, too - NX could probably add "real value" to such "dedicated root
servers" (personal edition of NX is quite inexpensive).

agree. are there any providers offering dedicated root servers (i mean real
machines) with "advanced remote administration facility via NX" at this time ?

regards
roland

ps:
uml for testing is suse 9.1 with kernel 2.6.6 + sysemu patch, host is suse 9.0
with kernel 2.6.6 + skas3 + sysemu patch.
