Please bisect or at the very least attach dmesg's (that contain timing
information) for working and malfunctioning kernels.

Are you referring to the "usb 1-6" thing?

Before bothering with bisect, does the problem go away when you downgrade the
kernel package to something that worked in the past?

Can you search old logs to identify this device? Something like:
usb 1-6: New USB device found, idVendor=xxxx, idProduct=yyyy, bcdDevice= z.zz
usb 1-6: Product: some name
usb 1-6: Manufacturer: some name

the problems persist.
I searched and apparently and the problem sounds like a regression started from
kernel 7.

Does it help to downgrade to a kernel version which worked in the past? You are
on Arch, so your options are local pacman cache or the official package
archive.

Does it help to disconnect the PC from all power for a minute?

Yes I tried unplugging the devices (usd ports) and restart: the first time the
boot process is pretty fast because the system had to remap again the ports.
However next boot in returns to the slow process.

That's why i think is a sort of regression on this type oh motherboard....

I've considered a downgrade of the kernel.... but is worth it? It's Arch not a 
LTS dystro ...

If it isn't possible to fix the problem for a while I'll have to try force a
reduction of the stand-by process.... I don't know how...

Not sure what you mean by this. Which devices did you unplug and from what?

The point of downgrading the kernel is to test if the problem goes away or not.
If old kernel still works, the bug is a kernel regression. If the old kernel
doesn't work anymore, the problem was caused by a HW change, FW upgrade,
userspace, etc.
