Hi!

Ok, code is still extremely ugly, but at least it uses softmac (and
does not carry its own 802.11 layer), and now actually works well
enough to do ssh. It does not work well enough to survive tcpspray.

why not mac80211? softmac has been deleted

Never mind, a peek inside tells me it does use mac80211.

However, the code gives me the creeps so I won't look any further.

It uses mac80211, or whatever softmac stack is present in
2.6.25. Sorry for confusion.
