Dear,

I would like to download the latest linux PPC kernel tree.

Is there is a tutorial somewhere which explain how to do that ?
Which kernel should I download ?

Thanks in advance.

Lionel

penguinppc.org -> section Kernel Sources... you've got explained how to
download

you should download kernel that's good for you :-) that's up to your board
configuration...
in penguinppc.org you've got two options - download 'stable PPC kernel' and
development kernel, you should read if your configuration is supported by
stable kernel (I recommend you choose stable if possible)

bye, Jure

Hm - I can't reach penguinppc.org since some days now.

Where are the current PPC kernel sources kept? It seems the standard 2.4.9
from kernel.org won't even compile with a basic PReP configuration.
