Hi Stephen,
If I remember correctly you maintain the Ozlabs patchwork aren't you ?
For more than one year now, patchwork for linuxppc-dev hasn't sent
notifications about patches status changes. Last notification I received
was 11 June 2024.
Is there a reason for that change ? I recently got questions from people
asking me why they didn't get notified when I started looking at their
patches.
Is it possible to restore previous behaviour ?
Thanks
Christophe

Actually Jeremy Kerr (cc'd) actually manages patchwork on
patchwork.ozlabs.org (I just admin the server it runs on).

Hi Christophe,
I've (finally!) had some time to take a look at this. Looks like
timezone behaviour had changed, which affected notification expiry.
It should be fixed now - I'm seeing test notifications myself. Let
me know how go.
Cheers,
Jeremy

I still don't receive anything it seems. I have modified the status of
several patches over the last two weeks and haven't received any
notification from patchwork.

In your case, it looks like you have previously opted-out of email
notifications from patchwork (for this sender address, at least).
Your user profile page ( https://patchwork.ozlabs.org/user/ ) will list
the addresses associated with your account, and whether those are
enabled for notifications.
Cheers,
Jeremy

Hum ... yes I should receive notifications on
christophe.leroy2@cs-soprasteria.com , and as the three email addresses
are linked together in patchwork I'd expect to receive notification for
patches coming from any one of the three addresses.
Nevertheless lets try to opt-in on the other address and see what happens.
Thanks for your help

Hi Stephen, Jeremy,
Since some time now, I regularly observe very slow response from
patchwork, to the point that my browser times out before getting a
response from the server.
This is really annoying. Are you aware of any problem with the server ?
Thanks
Christophe

I've just had a similar email from Maddy. Looks like we had a large
number of active TCP connections, hitting Apache's listen backlog limit.
We had a batch of this happen a while ago, mostly from scraper loads,
but was resolved with the introduction of the Anubis frontend. I'll have
a look into what's causing the more recent connection floods.
Cheers,
Jeremy
