KBUILD_CPPFLAGS += $(CPPFLAGS-y)
KBUILD_AFLAGS += $(AFLAGS-y)
KBUILD_CFLAGS += -msoft-float -pipe $(CFLAGS-y)
...
those right-hand side variables don't look right. are you sure they
shouldn't be, say, CFLAGS, or ccflags-y? etc, etc.
