Somehow, when I tried to transfer a lot of data over the network interface,
the box locked up. I came home and saw the above page allocation failures
(swapper). When I sysctl+I all the processes were reporting the same error.
The box was alive again. That said, ALL the ram on the system has been eaten
up!
Unless apache 2.0.xx somehow went into a mad memory eating binge I don't see
how this much ram could be gobbled up so quickly. The machine is idle for
the most part and handles a few internet services.
Has anyone else reported Page allocation failure issues recently?
