SMARTIO/INDUSTIO = mxser is supposed to stay.
INTELLIO = moxa is being removed.

No, mxser is still alive hardware-wise. I have a couple of mxser PCI
cards around :).
There is also a patchset to convert mxser to serial_core (even
8250_core), yet not ready:
