In 2.4.2-ac9, max_sectors support was added to the SCSI midlayer. I was
somewhat expecting to see that make it into 2.4.3, but it seems not.
Can anyone shed some light on why?

The max_sector patch is in no way critical (ie a feature, not a
bug fix), so it'll be merged along with the other stuff in the ac
tree eventually.
