hello,
while compiling linux kernel downloaded from kernel.org i am getting warning as
given below (atually there is a lot more i have attatched it)& size of
kernel is also geater than 2MB.
i was able to compile kernel 2.6.24.3 sucessfully.
Is there any suggestions on how to solve this problem...?
WARNING: vmlinux.o(.data+0x426ac): Section mismatch in reference from
the variable pcmcia_bus_interface to the function
.devinit.text:pcmcia_bus_add_socket()
The variable pcmcia_bus_interface references
the function __devinit pcmcia_bus_add_socket()
If the reference is valid then annotate the
variable with __init* (see linux/init.h) or name the variable:
*driver, *_template, *_timer, *_sht, *_ops, *_probe, *_probe_one, *_console,
thanks in advance..
regards
