Right, looked into this and the convention is to call mlx4_en_try_alloc_resources()
plus mlx4_en_safe_replace_resources(), which must always succeed (currently).
Seems rather complex to go this route instead; bpf_prog_add_undo() or *_sub()
[however we name it] is safe and straight forward, since we're guaranteed to
have one reference already.

Yeah, saw that, too. These two unchecked bpf_prog_add() would be another
issue to fix on top of this, ohh well.
For net-next, I'll just add a __must_check to these functions, so we can
avoid such issues in future and let the compiler complain early enough
instead.

An is_valid_ether_addr() failure also goes to the 'error' label, so a more
intrusive change would be needed.

I agree. This patch is only a minimal fix to the bug.

mvpp2_prs_update_mac_da() calls mvpp2_prs_mac_da_accept() that in turn calls
kzalloc(). kzalloc() might theoretically fail (though it never fails in
practice). Getting rid of these would not be that easy.
Changing the MAC address in this driver is a rather complex process that
involves removing the previous header parser, and installing a new one. There
are many sanity and bound checks along the way.

My understanding is it is generally felt that using the regulator enable
GPIO commonly found on WiFi chips for rfkill is an abuse of rfkill as it
is more that just an RF disable. From a DT standpoint, this seems like
creating a binding for what a Linux driver wants. Instead, I think this
should be either a GPIO or GPIO regulator and the driver for the WiFi
chip should decide whether or not to register that as an rfkill driver.
