The Phylink validate function is the Marvell PPv2 driver makes a check
on the GoP id. This is valid an has to be done when using PPv2.2 engines
but makes no sense when using PPv2.1. The check done when using an RGMII
interface makes sure the GoP id is not 0, but this breaks PPv2.1. Fixes
it.

The patch fixes the computation of RXQs being used by the PPv2 driver,
which is set depending on the PPv2 engine version and the queue mode
used. There are three cases:
- PPv2.1: 1 RXQ per CPU.
- PPV2.2 with MVPP2_QDIST_MULTI_MODE: 1 RXQ per CPU.
- PPv2.2 with MVPP2_QDIST_SINGLE_MODE: 1 RXQ is shared between the CPUs.
The PPv2 engine supports a maximum of 32 queues per port. This patch
adds a check so that we do not overstep this maximum.
It appeared the calculation was broken for PPv2.1 engines since
f8c6ba8424b0, as PPv2.1 ports ended up with a single RXQ while they
needed 4. This patch fixes it.

Hi all,
This series contains various fixes on bugs reported to us, or bugs I
stumbled upon while testing the various interface configurations I have
access to.
While this series contain fixes, it's sent to net-next as it is based
on top of Russell's rework and fixes he sent during the last 2 weeks
(such as his PPv2 phylink rework) that were applied to net-next. It'll
also allow the users to have more time to test those changes.

This patch prevents the PPv2 driver to put the XPCS in reset while
disabling a port. A port and the XPCS are two different blocks, and a
port can be used without the XPCS. Their configuration should be done
separately, which is already the case in the driver except for this one
example.

We had a check in the mvpp2_mac_link_down() function (called by phylink)
to avoid disabling the port when link interrupts are used. It turned out
the interrupt can still be used with the port disabled. We can thus
remove this check.

All right, however I'm not persuaded by you.
Because SOCK_DEBUG() is not a smart way for debugging, which requires
the user code to be modified.

That's the last one that's on my radar, info and flashing are the big
per-ASIC items. If we need more hopefully we can put the compat in the
shiny new ethnl user space :)

Sounds like more repetitive per driver code to get to information the
core already has. We can do a rhashtable if it really ever becomes an
issue (which is unlikely, how many ports are you going to have on a
box.. and this is not a dump - one call one lookup).

It was implemented like that originally, but on internal review with
Jiri we decided that having unused variable here is better than

Some PHY drivers like the generic one do not provide a read_status
callback on their own but rely on genphy_read_status being called
directly.
With the current code, this results in a NULL function pointer call.
Call genphy_read_status instead when there is no specific callback.

At this point I don't think this check is needed at all because fold
can't suddenly change its handle in between this check and initial
lookup in cls API. Looking at commit history, this check is present
since original commit by Jiri that implements flower classifier. Maybe
semantics of cls API was different back then?

Thanks fo rthe suggestion! Though I don't that would work here since
our priv->phy_drv != phydev->drv, so it looks like we need to be
breaking it down in the driver.
I suppose this driver is a bit unusual since it represents a GMII to
RGMII bridge, so it's not actually a PHY driver on its own -- it just
sticks itself in between the actual PHY and the MAC.

Some PHY drivers like the generic one do not provide a read_status
callback on their own but rely on genphy_read_status being called
directly.
With the current code, this results in a NULL function pointer call.
Call genphy_read_status instead when there is no specific callback.

For unsupported protocols, setsockopt() with SO_ZEROCOPY
option sets errno to ENOTSUPP(524). But this number is
not defined anywhere in the include/uapi/ headers.
To make sure userspace sees the known number, replace
ENOTSUPP(524) with EOPNOTSUPP(95).

* [PATCH] net: Fix for_each_netdev_feature on Big endian

The features attribute is of type u64 and stored in the native endianes on
the system. The for_each_set_bit() macro takes a pointer to a 32 bit array
and goes over the bits in this area. On little Endian systems this also
works with an u64 as the most significant bit is on the highest address,
but on big endian the words are swapped. When we expect bit 15 here we get
bit 47 (15 + 32).
This patch converts it more or less to its own for_each_set_bit()
implementation which works on 64 bit integers directly. This is then
completely in host endianness and should work like expected.
