i am new to netfilters ,i have a linux machine with debian ,i would like to use the psd option but it does not work ,do i need to compile to activate the psd option,if there a is howto or can u give me some instructions.

That is true but a kernel recompilation on a Debian machine is
well-documented and easily Googled.
