That I have working fine.

Ah - tried this:

iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -s 192.168.254.2 -p tcp --dport
25 -j SNAT --to-source 217.154.55.250

Or variants there off.

No Joy...

I could scream......

MASQUERADE  all  --  192.168.0.0/16       anywhere            
SNAT       tcp  --  mail.e-dba.net       anywhere            to:217.154.55.250 

Chain OUTPUT (policy ACCEPT)
target     prot opt source               destination
