Doesn't this mean -dev files are ending up in the main package?
Shouldn't this be:
FILES_${PN} = "${libdir}/lib*${SOLIBS}"
FILES_${PN}-dev = "${libdir}/lib*${SOLIBSDEV}"
or better, remove these and add:
inherit lib_package
?
