Stupid question:

Is
  PREFERRED_PROVIDER_virtual/mesa = "mesa-gl"
  PREFERRED_PROVIDER_virtual/libgl = "mesa-gl"
equivalent to
  PACKAGECONFIG_pn-mesa = "opengl dri x11"
?
