Thanks for your patch. However, I believe this is breaking some builds
on the autobuilder, with the following error:

ERROR: mtd-utils-2.3.0-r0 do_compile: Execution of '/srv/pokybuild/yocto-worker/musl-qemux86-64/build/build/tmp/work/core2-64-poky-linux-musl/mtd-utils/2.3.0/temp/run.do_compile.2425952' failed with exit code 1

you need to DEPEND on libexecinfo for musl and also add -lexecinfo to LDFLAGS

To make your suggestion work, I locally copied the libexecinfo recipe
from meta-oe to one-core.

Is it acceptable to move the libexecinfo recipe from meta-oe to one-core?

I think it makes sense perhaps add it to recipe-core/musl in oe-core

yeah you need to include fcntl.h and add -D_GNU_SOURCE in the compiler
commandline.
