I have a question to post:
I'm working on an Internet Gaming Project on Linux on Ultra Sparc.
I'm trying to find any 3D games eg: Quake II/III to run under
server/client platform ie
playing the game over the Internet.

Presently, I've managed to get Kalid, a server-side game engine to run
under Linux on UltraSparc.
Has anyone tried compile successfully 3D games for Linux on UltraSparc.

Please provide any information on how or where can I get it. Thank you.

Regards
Mickey

Mickey,

Loki Entertainment has a SPARC Linux port of "Civilization - Call to
Power"; I ran it at the Atlanta Linux Showcase in October 99. I don't
know if it's 3-D though, or if it works over the net. Loki
Entertainment will be happy to give you more info, I'm sure.

Regards,

David
