Hello All, 
It seems that starting from June 2nd 2014 the TDWR channels (5600-5650) are not prohibited anymore and should be added to FCC countries.

OLD FCC rules:

I can say for sure that there's no patch pending. I also agree that it
looks like those channels are now allowed, and it also looks to me like
we should be able to raise the upper limit of the 5490-5710 MHz range up
to 5730 MHz.

Anyone have objections to applying the following change?

Likely so. I don't know the list of countries off the top of my head
though. Feel free to send a patch with the changes you think should be
made, otherwise I'll put something together when I have time (which

I checked all FCC countries and apparently most of them already has these TDWR channels enabled.
The only FCC countries without TDWR channels enabled in the db.txt:
BB  CN  DM  DO  GT  MY  PA  SV  US  VE

Attached is a patch enabling TDWR for the above countries.

Note: This patch is based only on the below knowledge.

What is this list based on? What are these "FCC countries"? If that is
based on the DFS region, it is not appropriate to use that information
for determining which channels may or may not be allowed in the country
(it only controls the radar detection rules). In any case, this list is
not correct and the proposed patch should not be applied.

Assuming your only goal is to reflect the change in FCC rules that you
pointed out, the changes should be limited to the US and its
territories.

The changes look fine to me (obviously). I'd like for the short summary
to be a bit more descriptive, but I can fix that up when I apply the
patch. I'll wait bit to apply it though for others to comment.

As far as US territories though, I identified this list of entries from
the database: PR GU MP VI AS. All of these already have a similar rule.
