Hi all,

I am trying to setup an 802.11n interface card (
http://www.sparklan.com/product.php?func=view&prod_id=45 ) on my fedora core
10(kernel 2.6.27). I tried `lsmod | grep ath9k` and it shows that ath9k is
working, but when I try 'ifconfig' it does not show any interface with the
same MAC address as the 802.11n. The card shows up in 'lspci'.

Any advice?

Thanks,
Shruti

ath9k on 2.6.27 went in with only legacy support so if you have an 802.11n
AP you will not be able to use 802.11n with it. If you do not want to upgrade
to a newer Fedora or kernel yourself you can try compat-wireless stable
releases:

What is "the 802.11n" ? Do you mean your AP?

The next set of questions are -- what AP configuration are you using?
Are you using Network Manager? I could go on.

Please read:

Specifically please read about 'iw',

Chances are you can get your issue resolved quickly through
support on the IRC channel.
