im reading the code of u-boot
in <u-boot>/cpu/mpcxx/start.S
under >relocate_code< symbol
i can't figure the difference between _branch 1_ & _branch 2_
why cmp _the start addr of the future code in the mem_ and _the start
of the flash_ ??
thnx
best regards

Please try to be a bit less cryptic. Which exact parts (lines) of the
code are you referring to?
I can neither find any references to "branch 1" or "branch 2" or
"future code" or anything like that in the whole source tree.
Best regards,

We are all agreed that your theory is crazy. The question which
divides us is whether it is crazy enough to have a chance of being
correct. My own feeling is that it is not crazy enough. - Niels Bohr
