Can some one at NSA insist that this link be put back.
Semms pretty easy to link http://www.nsa.gov/selinux to
http://www.nsa.gov/research/selinux/
Since this has got to be one of the most common links hit off the
nsa.gov site.

Well I guess that man page should be rewritten to point at much newer
information like the latest Fedora pages, SELinux By Example, or just
google selinux policy. Which will get you this link and then fail...

The reports are all still available,
http://www.nsa.gov/research/selinux/docs.shtml
Some of the reports are also included in the selinux-doc package.

It was a complete overhaul of nsa.gov web site - outside of the SELinux
team's control. I did ask for redirects but they haven't been
forthcoming. But remember: it is new and improved, don't let anyone
tell you differently.
http://www.nsa.gov/public_info/press_room/2009/nsa_launches_new_website.shtml
In any event, the content is all still there, just rearranged and renamed.
Making all of the reports available in selinux-doc would likely be a
good idea.

Ok, folks, let's let this thread die now, please, as it is now
off-topic.
The web site change was in motion long before the change in
administration; the two aren't connected as far as I know.

The NSA seems to improve their web site every few years and break links
(particularly the mailing list archives). This combined with the significant
delay in updating the mailing list archives greatly reduces their value. The
above URL has an alternate archive for the SE Linux list which doesn't change
and is updated more frequently.
If you try and avoid linking to the NSA mailing list archives and instead link
to the marc.info archives then Google will be more likely to return marc.info
results that won't get broken.
