master has been merged to testing-next and is ready for clean builds.
I realize I've been tardy in getting the testing-next going, so I'm
going to create a cron job now that does that weekly.
Last week's testing results:
http://cgit.openembedded.org/cgit.cgi/openembedded/tag/?id=tested_2011-01-28
For more information on OE testing, see:
http://www.openembedded.org/index.php/Testing
Thanks,
Cliff

These nice testing results, what are they?
Results from the oestats server of all the successful builds?

My (eFfeM) test results are from a run on our autobuilder (using Hudson).
I manually go through the result log and update the wiki table accordingly.

So then the results mailed out weekly and attached are the manually gathered
results from the wiki page?
If so, then the build results are probably better since probably not all
successful builds are manually entered into the wiki table.

Yes, I copy the table into a OOo spreadsheet, sort, and copy-n-paste
the entries that have the right date. Its not bad, but still fairly
painful.
Automated reporting would be nice (like tinderbox), but no one has
signed up to do the work yet.

Probably depends who you are. The testing effort is designed to help
new users find a stable starting point without knowing too much about
OE. It is also proving very useful at keeping lots of build
combinations going.

OK, I have created the script and have it set to run in a cron job:
http://www.openembedded.org/index.php/Testing#Testing_Procedure
http://cgit.openembedded.org/cgit.cgi/openembedded/commit/?id=db60254c965392e21ba5438b1530cb7049574dfa
So, we'll see if that works any better.

My first try with the new branch and minimal-image failed configuring libtool-native-2.2.6b-r28.1 with a perl version mismatch error (see attached log). :(
Build Configuration:
BB_VERSION = "1.10.2"
METADATA_BRANCH = "testing-next"
METADATA_REVISION = "f06b04c"
TARGET_ARCH = "arm"

DISTRO = "angstrom"
DISTRO_VERSION = "2010.7-test-20110204"

All mine aren't there as the captch on the wiki was failing when I came to enter

oestats is not working clean for the moment. I have ran some builds today
that all have been successful but the oestats server have onlu recorded a
few build tasks in the beginning of the build and therefore stays in status
"Started".

I wonder for angstrom-2010 we use libtool 2.4 how come you end up with 2.2 ?

Without be21179c5321bd0afb9221f020ac12ad75c86a3b all of mine (would
have) failed so I wont be reporting results on the table this week but I
am kicking things off on current top of tree. I expect:
- angstrom-2008.1 + qt4* to fail (reported earlier this week)
- qt4* + arm + minimal-uclibc to fail (one of those __cxa_atexit things,
will report better)
- qt4* + mips64 + minimal-uclibc to fail (don't have the log handy, will
report).

It isn't angstrom-2010 but angstrom-2008.1.
For the Ångström version confusion see the other thread[1] i started.
