why grub theme doesn't work?!

Hi
why grub theme doesn't work?!
I set GRUB_THEME in /etc/default/grub and run grub-mkconfig -o
/boot/grub/grub.cfg
after that run it makes some line in the grub.cfg
but after reboot system  background is black!!!

You need to use the theme for GRUB2. They are available at
http://www2.apebox.org/wordpress/linux/228/ and
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/grub-extras/. Older version
themes won't work. Also note that versions other than current bzr will
silently discard the theme if any error occurs. In bzr it will give you
the error and wait for 10 seconds.
Also note that you need to use gfxterm.
