I have a problem on ar9330 on 3.2.13 where the AP quite frequently stops
responding and the driver spits out the following message,

ath: DMA failed to stop in 10 ms AR_CR=0x00000024 AR_DIAG_SW=0x02000020
DMADBG_7=0x00006400
ath: Could not stop RX, we could be confusing the DMA engine when we
start RX up

anything i can do to fix this?

Unfortunately not much. :\ If you try the very latest kernel with the
very latest patches and report again and nag then you can get time
from Atheros staff, who will try to reproduce your problem in the lab
and if successful will then analyze it. Remote debugging of driver
problems together with community members doesn't really happen.

Can you post some more information about what NIC you are using
(brand, version, etc).

Also, output from 'lspci -v' should be helpful.

What PC are you using?

Are there any errors in /var/log/messages (or dmesg) before this
error?

In the past, it has been suggested that you try disabling power-saving
and see if that helps.  If you do try this and it *does* help, please
let us know.

Ok. Lets get it upstream so we can get more debugging from userd.

Same deal for ps issues- they may show up as mac-access-while-sleep interrupts.

I'm working on merging all my wifi/ath9k patches into wireless-testing now.

It seems little or none of it has been merged yet, but hopefully
if I repost fresh patches that will help.
