Subject: P3041DS: SATA SCSI disk gives errors
Date: Fri, 22 May 2015 10:25:38 +0200 [thread overview]
Message-ID: <555EE802.9010401@enea.com> (raw)
Hello,
With latest dizzy branch of meta-fsl-ppc, with revision
(linux-qoriq_3.12.bb and linux-qoriq_3.12-prt.bb, Linux SRCREV =
"6619b8b55796cdf0cec04b66a71288edd3057229")
Instead of recognizing the HDD attached at SATA, it gives the following
errors.
[ 2.153541] ata2.00: failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x1)
[ 6.800430] ata1.00: failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x1)
[ 7.822380] ata2.00: failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x1)
[ 11.966438] ata1.00: failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x1)
[ 13.489386] ata2.00: failed to IDENTIFY (I/O error, err_mask=0x1)
Same feature works fine with 3.0.xx kernel supplied with board. Please
suggest how to fix this issue?
Regards,
Siva Borra.
