4.6 release bug lists

Hi all

Here are some bugs that I'm aware of. The name after a item is the
person who is working on it.

# Blockers

1. Toolstack record breaks migration v2 (Andrew Cooper)
2. Block hotplug scripts invoked multiple times (Roger Pau Monne)


# Non-blockers

1. QEMU block script doesn't work (George Dunlap)

If you think I miss other bugs (very likely because I haven't gone
through my xen-devel archive), please reply to this email.

We would start cutting RCs after all blocker bugs are fixed.

This "issue" is due to stale udev rules from previous installations. A
clean install or a update from a packaged Xen from a distro should work
fine. We could consider installing an empty udev rules file to replace
the previous one, but IMHO this is kind of crappy.

Then Konrad was also seeing timeout errors from hotplug scripts
execution, and we are still looking into the cause of this.

Yes, that is pretty bad. It should be a blocker.

I did not have stale udev rules. I had no Xen udev rules at all.

I think Roger was referring to an older report here, your current issue
("Second regression...") was what Roger then referred to as "Then
Konrad...", I think.

What's not clear to me so far WRT the second issue is whether the udev
rules were present and in use in the working case (i.e. with the revert in
place). See <1438244251.11600.236.camel@citrix.com>, in particular the
second half and even more specifically the final two paragraphs.

3. Emulator bug crashes guest (Roger and Paul)

Patch applied.

Fixes to all three blockers are now either in master or staging.

Hopefully they will all be in master next week. And we will cut first
RC.
