Hello,
Building with the current master for mx6ul the build of alsa-lib seems
to fail.
The reason is PACKAGE_ARCH being overridden by an empty MACHINE_SOCARCH
in alsa-lib_%.bbappend.
I don't know if this is related to the mx6ul soc configuration or more a
general problem.
It seems like removing the line
PACKAGE_ARCH_mx6ul = "${MACHINE_SOCARCH}"
from the bbappend resolves the problem.
Maybe someone can confirm/comment this!?

The MACHINE_SOCARCH needs to be set, indeed.
Checking imx-base.inc, it is defined.
MACHINE_SOCARCH_SUFFIX_mx6ul = "-mx6ul"
So it needs more debugging to check the root cause of the failure.
