Can someone explain all of the different kernel choices found
in meta-fsl-arm?

$ ls meta-fsl-arm/recipes-kernel/linux/*.bb
meta-fsl-arm/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-fslc_4.6.bb
meta-fsl-arm/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-fslc-imx_4.1-1.0.x.bb
meta-fsl-arm/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-fslc-imx-rt_4.1-1.0.x.bb
meta-fsl-arm/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-imx_4.1.15.bb
meta-fsl-arm/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-imx-mfgtool_4.1.15.bb
meta-fsl-arm/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-ls1_3.12.bb

I build for [my own] i.MX6Q/i.MX6DL/i.MX6Solo/i.MX6UL boards.
Which of the meta-fsl-arm recipes might be the best to follow/use?

n.b. I've been using the Boundary Devices versions from meta-fsl-arm-extra
because I also have a SabreLite (now replaced by Nitrogen6x), but
I'm happy to switch if it makes sense.

I've been trying to collect this kind of information in RN:

http://freescale.github.io/doc/release-notes/2.1/index.html#linux-kernel

Otavio, I'm sorry, I forgot to update the RN as you've asked. I'm
going to start this update right now.

The very best is kernel.org, but for some applications it may no be realistic.

The second place, in my point of view, would be
meta-fsl-arm/recipes-kernel/linux/linux-fslc-imx_4.1-1.0.x.bb because
you can send a pull request, and then only bump the recipe.

But, it's very individual answer.
