Hi,

I've applied a bunch of patches and hopefully commented on all the ones I
didn't apply. I also cleared the meta-oe patchwork so it's nice and empty
now: http://patchwork.openembedded.org/project/oe/list/?q=meta-oe

If your patch hasn't been applied yet into meta-openembedded master and is
lacking comments, please resubmit it as [meta-oe][PATCH v(N+1)] (substitute
N please).

There are a few big deadlines coming up at work, so everything will have a
few days of delay but if you haven't seen any feedback after a week and the
patch is still sitting in patchwork, please send a reminder. Replying to the
patch with 'ping' is usually enough and most people know where to find me on
IRC.

Two comments/questions:
1. Koen: what about the fuse 2.9.x patch [1]?
2. Martin: right now I am testing your latest systemctl mask patches.
After that I want to add a patch for systemctl-native to take care of
'Alias' tag and put [2] ontop. If you agree I will create a pull
request including your patches - so no need for you to resend. Agreed?

Andreas

There are few pending patches IMHO worth including, I can resend them in
some consolidated pull request (all pushed to jansa/pull already), but
listing pw ids is maybe easier for you to apply them:

systemctl mask (sorry I forgot to include meta-oe prefix):
33997 33999

patches from khem wit meta-systemd prefix:
33795 33793 33791 33789	33787

Cheers,

OK I will base my two patches upon these and send them when tested.

I didn't apply 33787, that needs coordination with other layers to prevent
breakage. I think doing a copy + delete a few days later is a better
migration path.

Ah right, I did try that one, but forgot to actually send the feedback:

koen@dominion:/OE/tentacle/sources/meta-openembedded$ sh contrib/pw-am.sh 32957
2012-08-08 09:04:45 URL:http://patches.openembedded.org/patch/32957/mbox/
[1299] -> "pw-am-32957.patch" [1]
Applying: cramfs_cvs.bb: fix compile step so it can be rerun without failing
error: patch failed: meta-oe/recipes-support/cramfs/cramfs_cvs.bb:4
error: meta-oe/recipes-support/cramfs/cramfs_cvs.bb: patch does not apply
Patch failed at 0001 cramfs_cvs.bb: fix compile step so it can be rerun
without failing
When you have resolved this problem run "git am --resolved".
If you would prefer to skip this patch, instead run "git am --skip".
To restore the original branch and stop patching run "git am --abort".

Koen

Thanks.

> I didn't apply 33787, that needs coordination with other layers to prevent

OK, for fwiw all BSPs in meta-smartphone layers are updated to use
machine_kernel_pr (in shr branch, master should probably still work with
current meta-oe/master).

Yes, good idea, it doesn't have any bad side-effect if MACHINE_KERNEL_PR
logic is applied twice, so this should help other layers to update.

This is working fine for me, you are applying to denzil branch right?
