hi, all
i run the following scripts :
tc qdisc add dev eth0 handle ffff: ingress
tc filter add dev eth0 parent ffff: protocol ip \
pref 4 u32 match ip dst 10.0.0.1 flowid :1
my question is :
can i know how many packets are matched by
this filter?
if i can , what should i do to get this
counter value, then.
thanks :)

No

But you can make a iptables rule that matches the same packets. Iptables has
builtin counters for bytes and packets.

thanks :)
but what if i setup color-aware filters for
AF PHB? say, there is two filters , both have
to match the packets from the source ip
10.0.0.1/24 to the destination 10.0.1.1/24 ,
and at same time, the first one with a police
rate and a burst size and a continue option,
while the second one with a relatively lower
priority which will match the packets excess
the police rate. thus, the iptables cannot
tell me the two colored-counters value
respectively, it can only tell me the total
packets matched by the two filters , am i
right?
