Summary: Crackly PCM output.
Description:
When playing a sound through the speakers on Toshiba Tecra 8100 the only
sound produced is noise.

Possible workaround:
Load OSS driver, ymfpci, unload it.
Load alsa driver.
Alsa sound produced now works correctly.
