Dear Concern,

I am a final year masters student of Tampere University of Technology, Finland and my major is computer networking. Now, i have to start my thesis and B.A.T.M.A.N protocol seems very interesting to me. My supervisior told to work on B.A.T.M.A.N routing protocol by network coding. I would like to ask, does it has enough scope to develop by network code ? and could you please tell me what other area (right topic) of B.A.T.M.A.N is avaible for research or thesis topic. Thank you very much for your time. Waiting for your kind reply.

Best Regards,

Md. Shaiful Islam

Can you please clarify whether you are talking about actual "network coding"
(as in CATWOMAN [1,2,3])? Because this part in batman-adv is mostly not used
for various reasons.

But when you are interested in network coding then you may get help from Simon
Wunderlich and Martin Hundeboll. But at least Simon is doing research in that
area - but not using batman-adv.

Sorry, but I failed to parse the sentence

Many here are no (longer) university researchers. So we don't have a official
list of topics of such things. But maybe someone else has some ideas.

Kind regards,
	Sven
