[Buildroot] svn co fail

[Buildroot] svn co fail

Hello,

browse the buildroot site (http://buildroot.uclibc.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/trunk/buildroot/)
works fine .
But, the svn checkout is fail with  the following error :

[st]$ svn checkout  svn://uclibc.org/trunk/buildroot
svn: Can't connect to host 'uclibc.org': Connection timed out

please advice what i'm doing wrong.

Probably a firewall issue on your end. Is port 3690 blocked?

Try telnet uclibc.org svn, and you should get something like:
Trying 140.211.166.42...
Connected to uclibc.org.
Escape character is '^]'.
( success ( 1 2 ( ANONYMOUS ) ( edit-pipeline svndiff1 absent-entries ) ) )

I also have the same problem.
svn: Can't connect to host 'uclibc.org': Connection timed out

But  checkout of another project like : svn co http://anonsvn.wireshark.org/wireshark/trunk/ wireshark
works fine.
Any idea ?

svn-over-http (webdav) is not the same as the native svn protocol.

You most likely have port 3690 (svn) blocked in the firewall.
